Hockey 101

Do you want to learn the basics of skating and hockey? Come join us for 6 weeks of Hockey 101 in Soldotna! This is open to both men and women over the age of 18 with less than 3 years of hockey experience. You don’t even have to know how to skate, we will teach you!

All sessions are held in the the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex (map).

Sessions are every Sunday from 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm and every Thursday from 9:15 pm - 10:15 pm, starting Thursday, August 20, 2026 through Sunday, September 27, 2025:

  • Thursday, August 20, 9:15 pm - 10:15 pm

  • Sunday, August 23, 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

  • Thursday, August 27, 9:15 pm - 10:15 pm

  • Sunday, August 30, 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

  • Thursday, September 3, 9:15 pm - 10:15 pm

  • Sunday, September 6, 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

  • Thursday, September 10, 9:15 pm - 10:15 pm

  • Sunday, September 13, 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

  • Thursday, September 17, 9:15 pm - 10:15 pm

  • Sunday, September 20, 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

  • Thursday, September 24, 9:15 pm - 10:15 pm

  • Sunday, September 27, 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

$175 for twelve one-hour sessions, or $20 for a one-hour drop-in.

$63 for a USA Hockey number (register here). This is separate from the Hockey 101 registration and is required for all registrants, full-time or drop-in.
